Antonio Duran is an Assistant Professor in the Higher Education program at Florida International University. Antonio completed his undergraduate degree at New York University, his master's degree at Miami University, and received his Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University. Antonio's research agenda involves understanding how historical and contemporary legacies of oppression influence college student development, experiences, and success. He is particularly interested in centering students with multiple marginalized identities with an attention to sexuality, race, and gender. Antonio is passionate about helping higher education professionals embrace a scholar-practitioner identity guided by a lens of social justice and equity.
