Carl "Kip" Sorgen

Research Associate - Qualitative Specialist

Kip is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University.  He earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education from The Pennsylvania State University where he served as a research assistant in the Center for the Study of Higher Education. In addition to having a strong foundation in research and assessment, he is an experienced university instructor and holds a graduate certificate in college teaching from Penn State. Kip also earned a master’s degree in higher education administration from New York University and an undergraduate degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences from Ohio University. He lives in Statesboro, Georgia with his partner, Aaron, and their labradoodle, Blaze.
