
Dr. Kadian McIntosh is the Director of Research and Analytics at Arizona Medical Education Research Initiative (AMERI) and Assistant Research Professor in the Educational Policy Studies and Practice department at the University of Arizona. She works to improve medical education by working with Admissions, Diversity and Inclusion, Medical Student Education, Student Affairs, and other constituents to better understand access, experiences, and success for students, faculty, and staff.
Dr. McIntosh's experience in evaluation and assessment also comes from serving as a Media and Learning Design Evaluator, Program Assessment Coordinator, Data Analyst, and several research positions. She has also enjoyed working with faculty, staff, and students as a Team Development Facilitator, Senior Diversity Educator, Instructor, and many roles within Residence Life.
Her scholarly and practical interests include campus and classroom environments; organizational policies and practices; assessing teaching, learning, and student development; curriculum/instructional design, international education assessment, and improving access and success in higher education.
Kadian has a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Pennsylvania State University. She received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership as well as her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honors from Florida International University.
