Nancy Wong is a Senior Research Associate for The Institute for College Access and Success (TICAS) in DC. In her current role, she conducts analyses related to access, affordability, and student success in higher education. She supports TICAS in developing policy recommendations related to affordability and accountability for federal and state policy.
Prior to this role, Nancy was a Program Coordinator for WashU at Brookings, and she facilitated leadership and public policy programs for federal government agency employees and corporate clients. She also worked at Florida State University as a Program Coordinator in the Center for Leadership and Social Change, where she led multicultural leadership programs and taught leadership development. Before moving to Florida, she served as a College Completion Coach for College Forward, supporting first-generation and low-income students in Texas.
Nancy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Maryland, College Park in The Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy program.
